How to uninstall VCPro Database

Removing VCPro Database takes about a minute. Follow the steps for your operating system below — and back up any saved lists first if you think you might want them later.

Keeping your saved lists and notes. If you may want your saved firm lists later, open VCPro Database before uninstalling and export them to Excel (.xlsx) or CSV. Exported files live wherever you save them and are unaffected by removing the software.

The same five steps on either platform — pick the one that matches your computer.

Windows

Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and 11

  1. Close VCPro Database. Make sure the application isn't running before you start.
  2. Open your installed programs. On Windows 10 and 11, go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps. On Windows 7 and 8, open Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  3. Find VCPro Database in the list. Use the search box at the top of the list if it's a long one.
  4. Select Uninstall. On Windows 10 and 11, click the three-dot menu beside the entry and choose Uninstall. On Windows 7 and 8, select the program and click Uninstall in the toolbar.
  5. Follow the prompts. Confirm when asked, and allow the uninstaller to finish. That's it.

macOS

macOS 10.13 or higher

  1. Quit VCPro Database. Press Command-Q, or choose Quit from the application menu.
  2. Open your Applications folder. In Finder, choose Go > Applications, or press Shift-Command-A.
  3. Find VCPro Database. Scroll to locate the application icon.
  4. Move it to the Bin. Drag the app to the Bin in your Dock, or right-click it and choose Move to Bin. You may be asked for your password.
  5. Empty the Bin. Right-click the Bin and choose Empty Bin to complete removal.
